Jennifer Taves, president of Preferred Residential Properties, commits fully to her clients, taking a hands-on approach from start to finish, ensuring that every transaction goes smoothly and exceeds client expectations. “Real estate is what makes me tick,” she says. “I love it.” Working with a wide array of buyers and sellers in Boston and its surrounding suburbs, Taves helps both first-time and experienced buyers with budgets ranging from $400,000–$10 million. With an extensive roster of repeat clients, Taves has recently channeled her 24 years of experience and personal knowledge of the city, local communities and school districts to guide buyers as they transition from the city to the suburbs and vice versa.

Taves celebrated the one-year anniversary of Preferred Residential Properties in February 2018. Since opening her own firm, she’s achieved over $31 million in closed sales. “My company’s success reflects our cutting-edge marketing and my drive to go to any length to help my clients meet their real estate goals,” she says, adding that she has done everything from installing countertops and lighting fixtures to replacing appliances, staging and “fluffing and buffing” to get homes in the best possible condition for market.

When working with buyers, Taves uses her market knowledge to offer suggestions and guidance allowing them to make informed decisions. “Buyers go through a process when looking for a home. I offer accurate data, options and choices. I don’t pressure them.” she says. “They feel comfortable with me. They feel taken care of.”
Taves is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. She enjoys travel, yoga, hiking and boating.
