Eve Dougherty, the CEO and founder of The ACE Team at Compass, is dedicated to giving every client an excellent experience. With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Dougherty is not only a source of knowledge, but a skilled negotiator and trained mediator. Specializing in the Greater Boston, Waterfront and Cambridge markets, Dougherty works with a wide range of buyers, developers, investors, and sellers, many of whom are referrals from past clients. “I love what I do and enjoy meeting all types of people,” she says.

Prior to joining the industry, Dougherty was a middle school teacher in Boston, but ultimately decided that she wanted to take her future in her own hands and transitioned to a career that enabled greater independence and limitless possibilities. This past year, Dougherty doubled her business, thanks in part to her mastery of digital marketing. She also grew her team and represented an elite buyer in their purchase. “I was honored to be trusted with the task of finding and negotiating a fantastic home at an excellent price,” she explains.

Dougherty has been named in Boston’s Top 20 for several years and is an advisory board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Boston. She also supports the Pine Street Inn, The Women’s Lunch Place and the Charlestown Mother’s Association.

Outside of work, she and her husband are passionate sailors and race in regattas. She also enjoys running and yoga, and, most importantly, spending time with her three children. “I do what I do so they can do what they want to do,” she says.
