Constantly exercising patience and honesty, Allyson Kreycik, senior vice president of mortgage lending at Guaranteed Rate, is a model originator. “I feel my job is to serve others and treat people the way you want to be treated,” says Kreycik, the 2019 recipient of the Guaranteed Rate Foundation’s Ambassador Award and a longtime member of the company’s Chairman’s Circle and President’s Circle. Ranking among the Scotsman Guide’s Top 100 Loan Originators and Mortgage Executive magazine’s Top 1 Percent since 2013, Kreycik closes over $100 million in sales year after year through referrals alone.

“I serve everyone who wants home financing, from the first-time homebuyer to the multimillionaire financing their fifth vacation home,” she says of her client base, adding that her relationships with her customers extend beyond the anticipated 30 to 60 days. “I like that my phone rings and I never know who’ll be on the other end.”

Kreycik attends to each of her clients herself, taking time to understand their financial history and mindset. With 17 years of experience, she is well equipped to handle the nuances of even the most complicated transactions. “Sometimes we have to get creative in how we structure loans,” she says.

Kreycik is an executive member of the Guaranteed Rate Foundation and volunteers with her children’s school as well as the Winter Shelter Network. She is a member of the Wentworth Golf Club in New England; The Prairie Club in Valentine, Nebraska; and the Journey Church of Colorado. “My faith in God and my family drives me,” she says. “Not many originators can balance three children with a successful career, and I’m proud to set an example of what’s possible for female loan officers.”
