George Uribazo
Branch Manager
PrimeLending

George Uribazo turns his clients’ real estate dreams into realities. He is the Branch Manager at PrimeLending since 2012 and has been a branch manager in the mortgage industry since 2005. Uribazo works with Boston- and eastern Massachusetts-based first-time homebuyers, as well as customers seeking to enter the luxury market and investors. He also takes on the role of teacher, guiding his team of loan officers to success. “I have seen the industry go through numerous changes and enjoy helping others navigate the challenges,” he says, adding that he feels great pride when his loan officers become managers and are able to lead their own teams.

Earning his real estate license at age 19, Uribazo was a top Realtor for Century 21 before becoming manager of his office, and later, he switched to a career as a mortgage banker. “Even though I enjoyed helping families find their dream homes, I really found that I had a love and talent for working on the banking side of the homebuying process,” he says.

For 15 of the 25 years that Uribazo has worked in the mortgage industry, he has been a member of the president’s club and ranked among the top 5 to 10 percent of the company’s sales force. He is also one of the founding board members of the Boston chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and currently serves as its membership chair.

Born in Cuba, Uribazo moved with his family to Spain when he was 5 years old and immigrated to U.S. five years later. “Through my family’s experience, I have seen what is it is to come to the U.S. with nothing and obtain the American dream of homeownership,” he says. “I strive to make that dream a reality for every family that I have the privilege to work with.”

Uribazo is an avid Harley Davidson rider and has taken his motorcycle all around the U.S. He is also a proud husband and father and a committed volunteer with his church community.
