What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? I was a Cambridge police detective.

Where did you grow up? Cambridge

Growing up, what did you want to be? A police officer.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Hike, spin and spend time at the beach in York Beach

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Jennifer Garner, she was incredible in “Alias.” She’s down-to-earth, wholesome and genuine.

What is Boston’s best-kept secret? Paisano’s — a small, little restaurant in Waltham, a suburb of Boston. The BEST margaritas and authentic Mexican food around.

What do you love most about the industry? Being trusted by those who choose to work with me. Selling or buying a home is a personal choice. I love helping people and pride myself on making their journey through it less stressful.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? With my background in policing, I truly believe it gives me the ability to look outside the box and get things done in nontraditional ways. I pride myself on always going above and beyond what is necessary. I treat every client like they are family.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Having to tell your client their offer wasn’t accepted after they did everything you told them to do.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Be your true self. Making relationships, relationships, relationships. If people know you are genuine and trustworthy, they’ll want to share one of their biggest experiences by hiring you.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? After a short time as a Realtor, I was honored to receive the Fastest Growing Agent Award nationally.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?The Blacklist” and “A Million Little Things”

What’s your favorite meal in Boston? Lamb loin chops from  La Campania in Waltham

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? Trinity Church

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? A known sex offender showing up at one of my open houses. I knew of him from being a police officer. Needless to say, he was not there to purchase the home.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? That I was a police detective

What is your favorite vacation spot and why? York Beach, Maine — peace, serenity and close to get to.
