Wastcoat, a real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Realty, is available to clients 24/7 and treats them all like family. “Their satisfaction is of upmost importance to me,” she declares.

Wastcoat notes that the 2023 market saw a change in terrain, with homes no longer selling the minute a sign went up in the yard. It required more skill and communication to get to the finish line, and she was pleased to do that for clients.

Wastcoat specializes in estate sales, move-ups, downsizing and rightsizing for luxury buyers in Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Westwood, Watertown, Brookline and MetroWest. She began her real estate career in 2002 at her husband’s suggestion. “With his support, I was able to dive right in,” she recalls. Born and raised in Newton, she believes in the community so much that it doesn’t feel like she’s selling it. “It feels more like I am helping people live their best life,” she says, “in an amazing location that can’t be beat!”

With estate sales, Wastcoat helps families prepare their treasured home for market, whether they live here or out of state. Oftentimes, she will personally help them arrange the home for showings or organize contractors to handle necessary repairs. “They appreciate having an agent they trust overseeing the work that needs to be done,” she says.

Wastcoat uses social media to stay top of mind with clients. Coldwell Banker recently declared her Instagram account a “Social Media Standout” for its relevancy, reels and stories. Every week she records “Wastcoat Wednesday,” brief videos that educate and entertain viewers about real estate. She admits she’s thrilled when clients mention something they learned from a show or viewers get excited to buy merch.
