Kim Douglas, Realtor

Coldwell Banker Realty

Embarking on her 17th year selling real estate, Kim Douglas remains thrilled about the decision she made long ago to leave a 20-year career in radio for real estate.

Her journey began in 2007 as a single mom. “I knew that I needed to be successful, so I jumped in with both feet and never looked back,” she says. “I moved to Boston in 2014, where I continue to fall in love with the area and grow my career.”

A Realtor for Coldwell Banker Realty, Douglas is known for her tenacity, market knowledge and ties to the community. “I am very proud of the team I’ve built that includes lenders, contractors, inspectors, insurance professionals, attorneys and more,” she says. “It feels good to know that I always keep my clients padded with the best team throughout their deal and beyond.”

During the past six years, Coldwell Banker Realty has named Douglas among its top 10% or higher performing Realtors worldwide. She belongs to the Greater Boston Board of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. A member of the LGBTQ community, she is instrumental in Coldwell Banker’s involvement in the Boston Pride Parade. She also volunteers for various Charlestown events, including Friends of City Square Park and the Training Field. She raises funds for the Boston Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research and participates in charity spin class rides to help support the Boston Police Department and HomeStart, an organization that aims to end homelessness.

In 2020, Douglas launched a podcast called “Bold Like Her.” With nearly 200 episodes, the weekly show highlights women from the Boston area. “It allows me to tap into my creative side while connecting and allowing these women to share their stories,” Douglas says. When not working, she enjoys working out and spending time with Frankie, her four-year-old French Bulldog.
