Kim Douglas, Realtor

Coldwell Banker Realty

After a career in radio, Kim Douglas enrolled in a real estate class and started her new venture in Philadelphia in 2007. “I was a single mom and knew I needed to be successful, so I jumped in with both feet and never looked back,” she says. “I moved to Charlestown in 2014, where I continue to fall in love with the area and grow my career.”

A Realtor for Coldwell Banker Realty, Douglas is known for her communication skills, tenacity and flexibility. “I am very proud of the team I’ve built that includes lenders, contractors, inspectors, insurance professionals, attorneys and more,” she says. “It feels good to know that I always keep my clients padded with the best team throughout their deal and beyond.”

Coldwell Banker Realty named Douglas in the top 10% or higher of Realtors worldwide during the past five years. She belongs to the Greater Boston Board of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and served as a director on the local board. A member of the LGBTQ community, she is instrumental in Coldwell Banker’s involvement in the Boston Pride Parade and volunteers for various Charlestown events including Friends of City Square Park and the Training Field. She raises funds for the Boston Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research and participates in charity spin class rides to help support the Boston Police Department.

In 2020, Douglas launched a podcast called Bold Like Her, which recently hit its 100th episode. “The beautiful part is that I now highlight amazing women from around Boston and it’s wonderful to hear them share their stories,” she replies. “It allows me to tap into my creative side.” When not working, she enjoys time with Frankie, her 3-year-old French Bulldog.
