With nearly two decades of experience, Joanna Kirylo, senior sales associate at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Warren Residential, is a titan of industry ready to take on any challenge thrown her way. A native to the Somerville and Cambridge areas, Kirylo is very familiar with her community and offers a breadth of knowledge to her clients—especially first-time buyers. “As we’re seeing more and more people relocate to the Boston area, I believe that growing up here gives my clients peace of mind when they’re moving to a neighborhood that they’re not completely familiar with,” she says.
With a prior career in HVAC services, Kirylo is able to offer additional trade knowledge to her clients when purchasing new homes, which helps reduce stress during the transaction process. “I’ve also learned a lot about construction in general, including new builds and renovations,” she says. “It has allowed me to help both clients and customers stay stress free, and it makes the entire process very efficient.”
With just over 18 years in real estate, Kirylo garners most of her business through past clients and referrals. She said she owes her success to an easy-going and accessible business style. “I try to be empathetic to the emotional aspect of buying and selling a home,” she says. “My organization skills help my responsiveness and communications with my client, and that goes a long way to making things easier and less stressful for them.”
Outside of the office, Kirylo is looking forward to getting back into group yoga and travelling in 2023. She loves traveling to places in Europe and Asia and hopes to travel as much as possible.
