After just three years in the industry, Zack Harwood achieved over $46 million in sales in 2021, placing him in the top half of 1% of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents worldwide. Based in Boston’s Back Bay, Harwood serves clients across Boston, in Brookline and elsewhere in the Greater Boston area.
“I’m very fortunate to have seen exponential growth in my business year over year,” says Harwood. When asked about his plans for 2022, he explained, “I’m building a team this year, Zack Harwood Real Estate, so we can serve even more clients across a broader geographic region with the same high level of service and attention to detail I’ve provided each of my clients over the past years.”
When asked about what has contributed to his success in real estate, Harwood says it’s putting his clients’ needs first and providing expert guidance at navigating the fast-paced Boston metro real estate market. “Whether you’re a buyer or a seller, having personalized communication and guidance towards achieving your goals is key,” he says. “In this market, it’s easy to get tripped up without an agent that’s truly in your corner.” That level of trust and rapport is quickly translating to repeat and referral business from Harwood’s past clients. He expects to achieve over $60 million in sales this year.
Before entering the real estate industry in 2019, Harwood worked for the HomeGoods division at The TJX Companies for nearly a decade. As a buyer, he traveled internationally to negotiate millions of dollars of inventory purchases with importers, wholesalers and manufacturers. “My favorite part of buying was being an entrepreneur — starting new relationships and initiatives, negotiating, and pushing myself to grow a business,” he says.
A resident of Boston for the past 11 years, Harwood lives in West Roxbury with his wife, Katie; his daughter, Eva; and the family dog, Eddie.
