Michelle Fermin is a partner and owner at Century 21 North East and the founder of The Fermin Group, a real estate team focused on retail and REO/corporate-owned assets in northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The Fermin Group has continuously ranked No. 1 in the country among all small Century 21 teams, and even ranked No. 1 in the world in 2020. Last year the team closed 390 transactions. 

Before entering real estate, Fermin demonstrated a great entrepreneurial spirit by starting her first business at the age of 16 to help support her family. At the age of 18, she sold that business and took her profit to open a second business, a billiard/recreational hall. By age 21, Fermin flipped that business for a profit and moved on to real estate. In her very first year as an agent, she was awarded the Rookie of the Year award. By the age of 25, she was made a partner of Century 21 McLennan, Ortega and Fermin. In her first year there, that office was the most profitable and fastest-growing one in New England. Fermin has continually been recognized by her peers with accomplishments such as being named one of the most influential leaders under 40 with the “40 Under 40 Award”; twice landing the cover of Top Agent Magazine; and even making The Wall Street Journal’s list of the 100 most influential real estate leaders. In April 2020, Northshore magazine did a cover story on Fermin’s success. Most recently, she landed the cover of Boston Agent magazine for its 2020 “Who’s Who” package.

Fermin has been involved in everything from building new construction, value assessment, market strategy and rehabs to teardowns. She’s an expert in short-sale negotiations, team building and coaching. Her strong sense of the market, attention to detail and consistent follow-up has helped her build a superstar team with some of the most successful agents in Massachusetts.
