Upon a few friends’ suggesting that real estate would be a good fit, Cyndi Deshaies decided to delve into the industry part time while working full time as a special education teacher. Four years later, she’s as fascinated by the industry now as she was even before her start. Compassionate and easygoing, Deshaies studied applied behavior analysis and credits her knowledge in this domain to much of her success with clients.
A native of the area, Deshaies services Worcester County with a keen eye for workmanship. “When I look at homes with my buyers, I go straight to the furnace, electrical panel, plumbing, foundation and roof,” she says. She goes above and beyond to ensure the homes she works with are sound properties. Most of Deshaies’ clients are found through networking, referrals, social media and company marketing. Because of her penchant for customer service, she’s heard many clients proclaim, “You are the best.”
Deshaies is unique in that she enjoys the highs and lows of business, and it’s this levelheaded posture that helped her maintain her success in 2021. She’s experienced steady growth in her business since 2018 and is proud to have made Lamacchia Realty’s President’s Club last year. Deshaies is also a community action board member with her local Realtor association and has received multiple commendations from the organization. For her dedication, she was asked to be a speaker among a panel of top agents.
In addition to fostering dogs, Deshaies serves on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization that benefits children battling food insecurity. Fitness and comradery being key to her recreational life, she plays and coaches women’s softball and is an avid runner, having participated in the Marine Corps Marathon in honor of her father. She attributes her business growth in part to having her three adult children, Anthony, Lindsey and Kayla, by her side.
