Annie Bauman, Principal

The Bauman Group

Annie began selling real estate in 2011, a soft market still climbing out of the upheaval of 2008. It was not easy. No one called back for a year. Her entrepreneurial spirit combined with wisdom and encouragement from her dad, a retired veteran broker/owner kept her focused. “One day I wasn’t a Realtor, and the next day I was. There was no toe-dipping.” Her leap of faith paid off, as she has been serving the MetroWest area ever since.

Following her success as one of Boston Magazine’s Top Producers in 2020 and 2021, Bauman started The Bauman Group in January 2022. As she puts it, “As a business leader, I want to spend my time doing the things that add the most value for my clients, such as innovative marketing and creative negotiation.” Trusted, local real estate professionals Jane Johnstone and Peggy Gemelli’s combined backgrounds in sales, real estate law and design merged with Annie’s 12 years as a top independent producer now offer clients a powerhouse of industry knowledge.

Bauman also appeared on RealTrends’ 2021 “America’s Best” list for her outstanding work and closed over $32 million in sales in 2021, a record-breaking year. And though she serves primarily the Dover and Sherborn areas, Bauman finds that expanding her footprint provides her with a multitude of benefits. As she puts it, “Selling a home in Weston, for instance, exposes me to trends and best practices that make me a savvier and more well-rounded agent.”

“For me, the greatest thrill comes long after a transaction closes. It’s when a client seeks me out as a trusted advisor for all of their real estate needs. From, “what’s the ROI if I gut the family bath?” to “who’s your plow guy?” to “can you connect me to a great Realtor in Harwich.” Annie prides herself on serving as a go-to resource for all things real estate.

Annie’s husband Kevin and her children, Sam, Audrey and Ruthie’s love and support is a critical component of Annie’s success. Bauman loves cooking, reading, playing tennis and knitting. She has been an active member of Grace Chapel in Lexington for over 18 years.
