Recognized as a top producer in 2019 by Boston magazine, Realtor Zachary Friedman achieved more than $20 million in gross sales last year. He accomplished that goal “through hard work and perseverance,” he says.

Serving buyers, sellers and property investors in the Greater Boston area, Friedman specializes in luxury properties throughout the downtown and MetroWest communities. During his 16-year career, he has brokered over $80 million in sales.

Friedman’s proudest accomplishment this past year was helping to sell a stunning residence at Twenty Two Liberty in Boston’s affluent Seaport neighborhood for one of his oldest and best clients. He then aided their purchase of a new-construction masterpiece in historic Weston. Both were record-setting sales for him.

Friedman credits his extensive experience, market knowledge and ability to relate to others as the most significant factors in his success. In their testimonials, clients say that he is “honest, dependable, reliable, knowledgeable and a good listener.” He knows how to win the deal for his buyers and get the highest possible price for his sellers.

“Compass gives its agents incredible tools to market properties,” Friedman says. For example, he can post listings as “Coming Soon” on the agency’s website, which lets his sellers test the market before listing their properties. It also provides his buyers with exclusive access to inventory that they won’t find anywhere else.

Friedman previously worked for two years in property management in Telluride, Colorado. “It was a natural transition for me to get into real estate sales after I moved back East from Colorado in 2003,” he said.

An outdoorsman, Friedman is an avid skier. He also plays in a men’s soccer league and volunteers as a soccer coach for his two daughters in their hometown of Westwood.
