Just over one year ago, Lynn Donahue, Donna Maley and Stephanie Burns moved their team to Compass and are now making huge strides. They’ve seen firsthand that real results often come from each team member bringing their own unique work experiences to the table.

The Donahue Maley and Burns team specializes in Boston’s MetroWest area. Since making the transition to Compass, the team enjoys better serving buyers and sellers through pre-marketing tools and the Compass Concierge service. The team has a passion for real estate and service, but not every member of the group began their career in the industry. As an attorney, Burns had been intrigued by real estate ever since she worked as in-house counsel for one of the largest real estate developers in the Northeast. Conversely, Maley was convinced she would never find a career she loved as much as being a high-yield bond trader in the financial services industry — in the end, the skills she possessed from her previous job were the perfect complement.

For the past year, the team has enjoyed the challenge that comes from working in a city where inventory is often off-market. Through resilience, the group has been able to play a pivotal role in helping many clients find the home of their dreams. “Throughout all of this, patience with the process and a positive outlook are essential,” they say.

Since making the switch to Compass, the team has already begun to earn accolades. Real Trends featured the trio in its 2019 edition of America’s Best, and Boston magazine recognized the team as top producers in 2019. The team has also ranked No. 1 in Wellesley for home sales for the past seven years.
