Anne Borghesani
Loan Officer and Branch Manager
First Home Mortgage Corporation
Teaching first-time homebuyer classes for a nonprofit organization made Anne Borghesani realize she wanted a career in real estate.
“I loved working with first-time homebuyers and educating them,” says Borghesani, a loan officer and branch manager at First Home Mortgage Corporation. In the business for 30 years, she has ranked among the top 1 percent of loan originators nationwide for years. Whether clients are buying or refinancing a home, Borghesani tries to put them in the best possible program. “Everyone has various needs and wants,” she says. “I like working with all types of clients and offering the best solutions.”
Borghesani starts out by taking the time to understand the needs of the client, whether it is a first-time homebuyer or an experienced homeowner. Credit issues are one of the biggest challenges that face homebuyers. “I counsel clients to help strengthen their credit,” she says. “Some of the best thank-you notes I receive come from clients who I coached and were able to become homeowners. That makes me feel like I am giving back something of value.”
An active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity’s annual gala over the past few years, Borghesani enjoys assisting an organization that helps make homeownership a reality for many local families. Fulfilling the needs of clients and exceeding their expectations with services is what Borghesani strives for. “I am certain that pride in homeownership makes this world a better place,” she says.
