Boston’s Future Finest Real Estate
Realtor Melanie Daye, owner of Boston’s Future Finest Real Estate, has had an entrepreneurial spirit since she was a child. The daughter of a business owner, she was inspired to become a business owner herself, and this year she started her own brokerage after working at Keller Williams for more than 13 years. At Boston’s Future Finest Real Estate, she works with all types of buyers, investors, landlords, tenants and sellers in the Boston area. Her business expertise, genuine nature and endless motivation have helped her excel in the real estate industry. “I have clients that recognize me as being an agent that goes above and beyond the call of duty,” she said. “I provide professional services, while building relationships with my clients.”
One of Daye’s biggest business accomplishments this year was selling a commercial property for $1.1 million. She says that earning her Loss Mitigation Certification in 2008 has been instrumental to her success. “This certification gave me the knowledge to handle and close short sales and foreclosures successfully,” she said. “I have continued to educate myself in the real estate industry on a daily basis.” Daye received her associate’s degree in business and her bachelor’s degree in business management from Fisher College in Boston.
Daye got her start in real estate in 2004 after working at John Hancock Life Insurance Co. for 20 years as an accounting analyst for group life and health insurance. After being laid off, she went to Florida for vacation. “The timeshare agents tried to sell me a timeshare,” she said. “That is when I decided to sell real estate.”
Daye is a member of professional real estate organizations, including the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. She has also served as the neighborhood crime representative in her community since 2014. “The goal is keep a safe community for our residents and everyday visitors, and to keep our environment free of harmful elements,” she said. As well as growing her business and helping clients, Daye enjoys swimming, dancing, sewing, participating in focus groups, traveling and reading.
