Residents of the South Shore, Plymouth and Cape Cod area have known Holly Pereira for a long time, as a Realtor for the last 12 years and as a teacher of yoga, Pilates and meditation in the years before that. Voted the area’s best agent in the Patriot Ledger’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards, Pareira brings a positivity to her business that clients and fellow agents remember.

For Pereira, buying and selling real estate came naturally, and she had good role models from an early age. “I have a mom who loves to move, still to this day, and she worked with an amazing agent who treated us like family,” she shares. “I guess I’ve been fascinated by real estate and moving since I was a kid.”

Pereira’s expertise ranges from single-family homes and condos to new construction and historical homes, including Victorians. Her deep market knowledge comes from a lifetime of living and vacationing in the area. “I grew up in Cohasset and spent summers in Plymouth and on the Cape and just fell in love with every beach along the way,” Pereira remembers. Later, her wellness career took her to homes all over the South Shore, where she learned what each community had to offer and laid the foundation for her real estate business.

The calm demeanor that her clients appreciate is one of many skills from Pereira’s background that serves her as much as it serves them. “I learned so many skills in that role that helped me in this one, mainly how to remain grounded and focused, especially when things become topsy turvy,” she shares. As a result, clients describe her as going over and above their every expectation.

In her free time, the longtime Plymouth resident travels throughout New England. She can often be found at her favorite beaches or exploring historic cities.
