Rachel Foy is most proud of building a successful brokerage with a family feel over the past decade. “Our clients have been given superior customer service that has resulted in sales of over $300 million,” says Foy, who is a Realtor, a broker and owner of Hillman Homes. With every sale, she makes a donation to help fight homelessness, and she also hosts clothing drives to support the nonprofit Second Chances.
Foy’s business is based 95% on referrals. She makes sure each client understands the transaction process, addresses any concerns they have and gives them all the time they need to make a decision. She understands not only the needs and stresses of homeowners, but also those of investors and landlords. Foy is licensed and owns multiple properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Over the years, she has experienced recessions and downturns in the market that inform the advice she gives clients today.
“I want my clients to be happy in their home — happy in being able to take care of it, as well as invest in it appropriately for building future value,” she says. This dedication has earned her top broker awards every year of her 22-year career. To Foy, the best compliment a past client can give is reaching out years later to ask for advice or a vendor recommendation; that means they trust and appreciate the work she does.
Foy is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Massachusetts Association of Realtors and Greater Boston Real Estate Board. She’s also president of the board of Newton’s Boys and Girls Club and among the leadership team of BNI Newell. To best serve clients, she is active in industry associations and holds the designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist and notary public.
