Beverly Hills-based luxury brokerage launches in Boston

The Agency, a Beverly Hills-based luxury real estate brokerage, has opened its first Boston franchise location at 435 Columbus Ave. in Boston’s Back Bay.  

Led by agent and managing partner Eric Rollo, the Boston location is the company’s 22nd franchise location and will serve clients in Greater Boston, as well as on Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. 

Rollo’s 15 years of real estate experience includes being named Realtor Magazine’s “30 Under 30” in 2015. Before joining The Agency, He was the founder, principal and senior vice president of sales at the Eric Rollo Real Estate Team, part of William Raveis Real Estate. Rollo began his real estate career specializing in investment properties, working with investment clients, rental clients and condominium owners. 

“We’re thrilled to partner with Eric Rollo and launch our new franchise in Boston as we expand our brand’s presence on the East Coast,” The Agency founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky said in the release. “Eric will be a wonderful steward of our unique Agency culture as he grows his team with like-minded professionals.”

Rollo lives in Jamaica Plain with his wife, Valerie. The couple are board members of Friends of Boston’s Homeless and the Center for Advanced Financial Education at Roger Williams University.

The Agency launched several franchise locations this year, expanding throughout the U.S. and Canada, including Oakville, Canada; New Canaan, Conn.; North Shore, N.Y.; and Maui, Hawaii. The company also opened new corporate office locations in Studio City and Pacific Palisades, Calif.
