Ryan Morgan, Partner

Mortgage Corp East

Ryan Morgan learned early in his 17-year career that teamwork is the foundation of a successful career in the mortgage-lending field. In fact, he learned it as a member of a different sort of team—a baseball team. “After a brief stint playing minor league baseball, I thought I was going to get into coaching, but I was not enamored by my first year doing that,” he reminisces. “During that stretch, I met Mike Aizenstadt, who founded Mortgage Corp East in 1988, and we struck up a great friendship. From there, he offered me a job to come and work for him, and we now jointly own the company.”

The lessons Morgan learned on the baseball field translated readily to the lending field. Teamwork within his office allows him to offer clients from first-time buyers to real estate investors top-notch service tailored to their unique needs. Clients rave about his genuine approach and steadfast commitment to their best interests. “My clients appreciate and understand that my interaction with them is genuine and objective,” he shares. “A large part of our responsibility falls under the umbrella of being a fiduciary, so people are able to quickly identify when someone is truly working towards their best interests as well as treating them with respect and understanding.”

Describing his business style as “a mix of professional, self-motivated and organic,” Morgan brings a unique blend of traits to the table. His competitive nature and unwavering determination set him apart in a crowded market.

Beyond his professional achievements, Morgan is deeply involved in philanthropic endeavors. He is a member of the Boston College Diamond Club, which raises funds for the Boston College Baseball Team and mentors current and former student athletes. He also gives to organizations that support cancer research and treatment, among other groups.

Morgan’s dedication extends beyond the boardroom. “This past year,” he notes with pride, “I was able to complete construction on my family’s dream home.”
