An expert in residential, commercial and new-construction listing and sales for over 40 years, Lillian Montalto is known for her professionalism, area knowledge, negotiating skills and ability to create solutions.
Montalto’s career began in the corporate world, although she found the environment to be the wrong fit for her get-up-and-go personality. “I was never one to sit in an office and wait to be told what to do,” she explains. “I quickly realized that a career in real estate allowed me to create my own destiny, as there was no ‘glass ceiling.’ So, whatever you put into it would determine your ‘return on investment.’”
Montalto’s thought process is to “start every day at zero.” This has always been a driving force for her success. Her second mantra is, “Get up, dress up and show up.” This philosophy is what she and her team at Lillian Montalto Signature Properties International LLC embody every day. Her team includes seven administrative personnel, as well as a top-notch, highly educated group of full-time licensed agents. “Our society today is driven by instant gratification,” she says. “Therefore, you need to have a team readily available to provide the best customer service always.” One of Montalto’s highlights last summer was helping David on an episode of “My Lottery Dream Home.”
As a Zillow Premier Agent and Zillow Advisory Board alum, Montalto, along with her team, sells hundreds of properties through the site each year. She is the 2024 president of the Northeast Builders & Remodelers Association of Massachusetts and has sat on its board of directors for more than 28 years. Committed to philanthropic endeavors, Lillian Montalto Signature Properties International raised over $115,000 for the Be Like Brit Foundation, over $75,000 for breast cancer research and thousands of dollars for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
