Michelle Fermin, CEO and Team Lead

Jess Fermin, CMO and Business Development

Keishla Quiles, COO and Director of Mentorship Program

A bad experience her mom had trying to buy a home inspired Michelle Fermin to become an agent.

Fermin, CEO and team lead of The Fermin Group/Century 21 North East, recalls her mom barely spoke English when she first arrived in America. “All real estate agents she approached did not care to take the time to help her find what she needed, so I took matters into my own hands,” Michelle recalls. “I became an agent to help my mom buy her first home, and after that, used her sphere to build my client base.”

Those relationships formed the foundation of a business that today is based mostly on referrals. Michelle leads a team of 40+ agents with Jess Fermin, CMO and business development, and Keishla Quiles, COO and director of mentorship program. Michelle handles sales, coaching and accountability; Jess handles agent recruiting, business development and marketing strategies; and Keishla oversees operations and runs the junior program. Ranked #1 among C21Teams in in the country by AGC for 2023 and #3 globally, the team has earned too many awards to mention.

The Fermin Group assists buyers, sellers and investors, from first-time to luxury, in Massachusetts, New Hampshire—with a focus on Northeast Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire—Maine and Rhode Island. They also represent developers and relocation clients. With each client, they do an in-person or zoom call to prepare them for the process, discuss their 10-year plan and create an analytical approach as a team. Michelle, Jess and Keishla rely heavily on each other for knowledge or to pick up the slack and have a standard operating practice to guide everything they do. Grateful for their success, the team helps run ACRES, a program that provides young adults scholarships for real estate classes, to help jump start their careers.
