With a career spanning 16 years, Carol Korbman remembers that her entry into the real estate field involved a strong dose of serendipity. Hailing from a family deeply entrenched in real estate in Mexico City, she had the seeds of her passion sown early on. It was a chance encounter upon arriving in Boston for college that set her course. “In my quest for a home,” she recalls, “I walked into a real estate office, where serendipity led me to connect instantly with the owner, who was also a broker.” Inspired by him, she found her calling was helping others find their homes.
What sets Korbman apart is her intimate knowledge of the Boston area. Having called Boston, Brookline and Newton home for many years, she offers clients insights into the nuances of the city’s colorful communities. “Clients often commend my demonstration of exceptional patience, understanding and preparedness,” she says. In a competitive market, Korbman’s resilience is evident. She’s proud of her ability to navigate challenges with grace and tenacity.
Korbman’s achievements haven’t gone unnoticed. From being named to her company’s Leading Edge Society in 2021 and 2023 and its President’s Circle in 2022, to earning the Best Dressed Agent award from Boston Agent magazine in 2021, among other accolades, she continues to garner industry recognition for her outstanding performance. Beyond her professional endeavors, Korbman is deeply involved in philanthropy and volunteer work. As a board member of Hadassah Boston and an active contributor to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Cradles to Crayons, she embodies the spirit of giving back to her community.
Outside the realm of real estate, Korbman is a seasoned traveler who has explored more than 37 countries. She enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and biking, and she relishes every moment spent with her two kids and extended family.
