Scarlett Tamburro, Senior Sales Agent

The Agency in Boston

Real estate is the only career Scarlett Tamburro has ever known. Tamburro, senior sales agent at The Agency in Boston, grew up in Weston. With 10-plus years of personal experience and three generations of real estate agents in her family, she combines the best of new-school selling with old-school negotiations to help clients in Boston and the surrounding areas achieve their goals.

Her proudest moment came a few months ago, when she sold a $5 million co-op listing that was listed twice in the past three years by two top producers. It never sold until she took over.

“I was able to take fresh photos and videos, market it, advertise throughout multiple PR routes such as Mansions Global, Boston Herald and Boston Globe,” she recalls. “I was able to get it under contract in three months. My seller was extremely happy and now I have a client for life. I plan to sell another one of her homes next year.”

Her marketing skills are top-of-the-line. She uses new-age technology and algorithms to put properties in front of the most buyers in the least amount of time.

Tamburro understands the market conditions and is able to evaluate if a property is over-priced or if a buyer needs to bid significantly more over the asking price. With sellers, she sets their expectations and explains why a property should be priced differently than they may want it to be.

“I am very knowledgeable about the areas and the positives, as well as concerns, with each property,” says Tamburro, who has referral agents in all 50 states, Canada and the Caribbean Islands. “I explain the process clearly, so there are no surprises for buyers or sellers.”

She loves the boundless opportunity that comes with the real estate business. “I have the choice to make as little or as much as I want based on the time and effort I put into it personally,” she explains. “It gives me flexibility to live my life and travel while making money and helping people with the biggest financial decision of their lives.”
