A friend to homebuyers and agents alike, real estate attorney Kaitlyn Mitchell is in a league of her own when it comes to client service and collaboration.
Originally from Florida, Mitchell first fell in love with Boston’s small-neighborhood/big-city charm after moving for law school. She now lives in South Boston and caters to clients around the city and in the surrounding suburbs, specializing in residential real estate and condominium formation.
Mitchell got her start in real estate law as a clerk in Back Bay. “I quickly realized I loved real estate law,” she shares. “I love how fast-paced it is, and generally how happy parties are at the closing table. I love being able to help clients feel comfortable and well-informed in real estate transactions, whether they’re a big-time property investor or a first-time homebuyer new to the area.”
Mitchell’s clients say she’s responsive, thorough and attentive. “I never let a question sit unanswered for more than an hour,” she insists.
While Mitchell likes to create lasting relationships with her clients, she also understands the importance of good relationships with Realtors. “In this business, the cost of not being responsive can be catastrophic to the agent’s book of business, and in turn, my business,” she says. “I think it’s so important to have a personable friendship with every agent I work with so we can better understand each other and how we can help each other in transactions.”
Mitchell was recently named among Boston magazine’s top lawyers for 2022.
