At the age of 16, Stacey Snowdon secured a part-time job at a local bank that sparked what became her lifelong passion for customer service and finance. After working the job through college, she graduated and went on to become a recruiter in the legal industry, discovering that she also enjoyed “selling” roles and helping people find the perfect fit. When she decided to combine her passions and become a mortgage professional, it was only natural.
Today, as a senior loan officer at the Danvers branch of Draper and Kramer Mortgage, Snowdon is an accomplished mortgage originator with 19 years of experience. She has closed hundreds of millions of dollars of home financing, and mortgage industry publications Scotsman Guide and Mortgage Executive Magazine rank her among the top mortgage originators in the nation by annual loan volume.
Snowdon believes customer service is key to her business. “Each borrower and situation are unique,” she says. “There is no such thing as a ‘cookie-cutter’ transaction any longer.” She makes sure to get to know each of her clients, educate them about their options and think outside the box to find the mortgage solutions that fit them.
In 2021, Snowdon closed 183 loans and more than $69 million in home financing, once again earning her a spot in Draper and Kramer Mortgage’s President’s Club for top-performing loan officers. “It was another busy year, and I was proud to help so many borrowers secure historically low rates on their loans and buy into a market where home values keep heading up,” she says.
Looking ahead, Snowdon plans to continue strengthening her team and growing her business to provide even more borrowers with her first-class home financing experience.
