A strong work ethic was instilled in Michael Suffoletto at a young age as he watched his parents operate a small business. “I innately understand the importance of hard work and customer service,” Suffoletto declares. “I always do what is best for my client, even if that makes it harder on me and my team.”
A senior loan officer with Guaranteed Rate, Suffoletto has been in the profession for 18 years. Currently supported by a team of eight professionals, he specializes in new-construction developments, as well as resale mortgages and refinances. Having a love for numbers and the markets, he started his career in finance. “My finance background helped me become not only a technically sound loan officer, but an all-around advisor to my clients,” he explains.
Since the mortgage process is one of the biggest financial decisions a person will ever make, Suffoletto provides the professionalism necessary while keeping things light to help ease anxiety. “My goal is to help clients feel comfortable and confident by educating and explaining,” he declares. Although the loan process can sometimes be very cut and dry, Suffoletto knows that it can include complexities, as well. “Experience cannot be taught,” he insists. “I know what works, but more importantly, what does not work. I can identify potential red flags before they become issues and offer solutions.”
Making President’s Club every year with Guaranteed Rate, Suffoletto earned Chairman’s Club honors most recently, having closed more than $135 million in consecutive years. “It makes me proud of my team to accomplish this while working remotely and dealing with so much personally during the pandemic,” he shares. “It is a true testament of my team putting the customer first and helping to make a difference within the communities we serve.”
