Lindsay Coutu and Shannon Rideout of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty share their passion and commitment to creating an exceptional customer experience. Working as a team, with a combined 27 years in the industry, they provide a customer-first approach that exceeds expectations. Serving the city of Boston and surrounding neighborhoods, the pair works in all areas of real estate with buyers and sellers. Both Coutu and Rideout are members of the Top Agent Network and were recognized in Boston magazine as Top Real Estate Producers.

Coutu and Rideout think outside the box and provide innovative, creative strategies for their clients. As they explain, “Our clients appreciate that we are proactive, extremely attentive to detail, organized and that we know the markets we work in.” They have adapted quickly to changes in the industry, the way homes are shown, communication with clients and an evolving understanding of shifts in different  markets.

At the age of 19, Coutu attained her real estate license while attending Boston University. “I took a chance,” she remembers. “Little did I know it would determine my career path and this is where I would happily be 15 years later!” Coutu worked in several real estate offices before co-founding a boutique agency in South Boston in 2011 that was acquired by Gibson Sotheby’s.

Rideout discovered her passion for real estate when she started working at a real estate office while finishing her master’s degree in New York. Speaking of that time, she remarks, “I was looking for an interesting part-time job. I never expected how quickly I’d fall in love with real estate. This was the right fit; it was time to move back home to Boston and start my career!”

Coutu and Rideout have contributed to and advocated for organizations such as the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Casa Myrna, the Greater Boston Food Bank and the Angell Animal Medical Center.
