Traci Shulkin, Agent
Jared Wilk, Broker
Not even a pandemic can prevent team leaders Traci Shulkin and Jared Wilk of The Shulkin Wilk Group at Compass from achieving their goals. Last year they sold the most expensive homes of their careers, one in Wellesley for $7.8 million and another in Weston (off-market) for $7.825 million. They closed over $110 million in transactions in 2020, making the prestigious Real Trends list of best agents in Massachusetts.
Consistently named top agents throughout their careers, Shulkin and Wilk merged their businesses last year when they joined Compass. Now they run a team of nine agents, assisting entry-level to luxury buyers and sellers in Greater Boston and MetroWest suburbs. Their concierge-style service and “work hard, play hard” philosophy endear them to clients. “People like to see a smile and positivity,” Wilk says. “But they also want someone who can roll up their sleeves when necessary.”
Lifelong Bostonians, Shulkin and Wilk have lived in many of the towns they serve. A third-generation agent, Wilk regularly holds director and chair positions with the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and Massachusetts Association of Realtors. He has also appeared on HGTV’s “My Lottery Dream Home” and WCVB Channel 5’s “Chronicle.”
A former CPA, Shulkin switched careers in 2004 because design and construction interested her more than debits and credits. “I wanted to work directly with clients instead of behind a desk,” she says. From the beginning, Shulkin’s goal has always been to become a “forever Realtor” to each client, helping them find homes to suit every stage of their lives.
To support restaurant owners and health care workers during the pandemic, the two raised over $28,000 through a GoFundMe campaign, Heal With A Meal, to purchase meals and gift cards from local restaurants that deliver to hospitals and nursing homes.
