Even after nearly four decades in the real estate industry, Eileen Doherty is excited to lead every client through a successful negotiation. “I’ll go above and beyond to make the clients’ dreams a reality,” says Doherty, a Realtor with Lamacchia Realty. Acting as a listing agent for the residential, land and development markets throughout the North Shore, Doherty is equally invested in serving buyers of all kinds, ensuring that clients have a worry-free experience.
The first member of Lamacchia’s President’s Club Elite, Doherty has continued her reign as a leading agent. In 2020, she closed 75 transactions, earning her the No. 1 spot out of almost 400 Lamacchia agents. Before joining Lamacchia, Doherty was No. 1 in the Northeast region at Century 21 and won the Centurion award year after year. “I’m a workaholic,” she says. “I’m always available, honest and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of real estate.”
Preceded by eight generations of Woburn residents, Doherty continues the family tradition of living in her hometown. In 1982, having just joined the real estate industry part time while working in market research at HP Hood, Doherty quickly found herself loving every aspect of the new job and opted to take the work on full time. “I learned the value of land right away,” she explains of her strategy. “I figured out early on in my career that I could sell a piece of land, then sell a new house on that land, then help the buyer sell their existing house to move up. That led me to listing over 30 subdivisions.”
Doherty is an active part of her community. She’s the three-time president of the Woburn Middlesex Lions Club and a member of the Woburn Public Library Foundation board, the Winning Homes board and the Realtors Association.
