In 2018, Realtors Casey Shaughnessy and Casey Cochran formed The Caseys to leverage each other’s spheres of influence. “Having a partner in this business is crucial for problem-solving, marketing collaborations and overall day-to-day support as business continues to grow,” they say. As a result, a majority of their business comes from their social circles and past client referrals. “In this business,” they add, “the greatest reward to receive is a trusted referral from a happy client.”
With a combined 11 years of industry experience, Shaughnessy and Cochran assist buyers, sellers, investors and developers with everything from existing condos to ground-up new-construction development opportunities. In their second year as a team, their business increased by over 52%, covering 15+ cities and towns from Boston to Cape Cod.
“Educating our clients about the buying and selling process is the first step to ensuring a successful path to the closing table,” the pair says. The two host regular homebuying seminars to give buyers an opportunity to learn about the entire transaction directly from their preferred lenders and legal teams. They also host regular client-appreciation and networking events.
In 2020, Shaughnessy and Cochran both earned Coldwell Banker’s President’s Circle award for gross commission income and together achieved more than $27.5 million in property sales, ranking among the top 5% of Coldwell Banker agents internationally. The two are members of the National Association of Realtors and are actively engaged in the betterment of local neighborhood associations in areas where they do business. “Supporting small businesses and growing our communities is paramount to the well-being and happiness of the neighborhoods we serve,” they remark. “We’re grateful every day for the people we work with.”
