While first-time buyers may not always have eye-popping budgets and new construction seldom offers a quick closing, these specializations often benefit from a full-service “concierge” approach. In the suburban Boston and southern New Hampshire markets, Anthony Castellano, a Realtor at Lamacchia Realty, strives to offer the white-glove treatment.
“It’s cliche, but I go just about anywhere my clients need me,” says Castellano, a young Realtor with a background in development. The Middlesex County native says real estate runs in his blood, as his family has decades of experience in it. Another thing that runs in his blood? Staying hungry and outhustling his competition.
“A good amount of my reviews mention my age (just 25), followed by my energy and effectiveness when it comes to making these deals happen,” says Castellano, the youngest person ever to receive Lamacchia Realty’s President’s Club honor. Keeping his focus on providing excellent service to clients helped him eclipse $21 million in volume to close out 2020.
“I like to think I’m all business,” Castellano says, “but I definitely try to make the process fun and as simple as possible.” He goes above and beyond for clients, challenging assumptions on “needs” and “wants,” while using data and creativity to demonstrate how unexpected properties can be the best solution for clients.
In one recent deal, Castellano advised a client through an expansive renovation which he ended up selling for $1 million, more than $100,000 over the asking price — the highest non-new construction sale in the town.
“The biggest thing is not simply guiding clients through, but educating them to ensure they understand the process and market, along with managing expectations, which leads to the most successful transactions,” says Castellano. “I try to educate clients on alternative options that fit their needs.”
