Placing relationships at the forefront of her business model, Jamie Grossman is nothing if not attentive, providing her clients with emotional and professional support through every step of a transaction. As a Realtor with Benoit Mizner Simon & Co., Grossman specializes in the MetroWest markets, serving residential buyers and sellers from all demographics and life phases. “Holding a 9-week-old baby while mom and dad signed papers at a closing was a joy,” she says. “Tears of happiness at other closings and ongoing relationships forged during the buying process have been so rewarding.”

Before taking time off to raise her family, Grossman spent decades in the real estate industry, starting in sales at Carlson Real Estate in the Back Bay, then moving onto apartment building renovations before founding Home Referral Source, a firm devoted to connecting homeowners and contractors. “It definitely takes some courage to step up and out of your comfort zone to join an industry with so many superb agents,” Grossman says. “What I have found is that I enjoy being back in the conversation of real estate. I love figuring out the puzzle of connecting buyers with the perfect home and strategizing with sellers on the best way to prepare, market and sell their home.”

In addition to her devotion to the real estate industry, Grossman is an active volunteer within the community. Since 2000, she has served on the board of directors of Jewish Family & Children’s Service and is currently board president. In 2014, she founded Shoulder to Shoulder, a program within JF&CS to support military spouses and their families and served as adviser until 2018. Grossman is also on Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Board of Overseers and is a former co-chair of the steering committee at the Greater Boston Veterans Collaborative.
