When you call Ashley Reader, you know you’ll get her on the line. A self-described “real estate agent 24/7,” Reader gives her clients everything she’s got. “I use all of my time to make sure my clients feel like they are the only client I work with,” says Reader, a Realtor at Compass. “There is nothing more important than my clients’ happiness at the end of the buying or selling process.”

A longtime Boston resident, Reader spent the first 13 years of her real estate career specializing in residential rentals in Brookline’s Coolidge Corner neighborhood, helping over 1,200 clients find housing. She has since expanded her focus to sales in and around Dedham, West Roxbury, Roslindale, Jamaica Plain, Chestnut Hill and Newton, forging new connections through referrals from her network of friends as well as landlords and property investors.

A musician for over 20 years and a former salon industry professional in Atlanta, Reader transitioned to a career in real estate out of her love for design and architecture.
This year, Reader made the largest sale of her career and completed three sell/buy transactions. “These are by far my favorite and most challenging deals to negotiate,” she says. “Finding the right timing for prepping, staging and listing a home while simultaneously finding the seller’s dream home to purchase comes with a myriad of obstacles to overcome, but the reward at closing is well worth it!”

Reader is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. She is the proud mother of a 5-year-old daughter.
