Scarlett Tamburro
Salesperson
Charlesgate Realty
Scarlett Tamburro grew up in a real estate family, and thanks to her parents’ and grandfather’s influence, she’s a natural born salesperson. As an agent with Charlesgate Realty, Tamburro works with luxury buyers, relocating professionals, empty nesters, and property investors and sellers in Boston and the surrounding areas, including Brookline, Cambridge and Charlestown.
In 2016, Tamburro was named Charlesgate’s Rookie of the Year and Top Producer, two accomplishments she attributes to her perseverance as well as her early introduction to the business and her parents’ positivity and outgoing nature. “They’re the reason why I am so successful and perform like I have more than five years of experience,” she says.
In the past year, Tamburro sold over $7.7 million, including a $2.6 million home in Back Bay, which went to a family friend after convincing them to purchase rather than rent. “They ended up buying a brand-new gut renovation on Marlborough Street and couldn’t be any happier,” she says.
Thanks to Tamburro’s charisma and keen negotiating skills, she’s able to turn casual meetings into business transactions. “Last winter when I was skiing, I met a firefighter who had a multifamily home in Roslindale, and I convinced him to make the decision to condo-convert them and sell the condos,” she explains. “We sold them right away and he was very happy! He made nearly 300 percent on the sales from when he bought it.”
Having lived in the Boston area for over 10 years, Tamburro knows the neighborhoods inside and out. She is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board’s Young Professionals Committee and is a chairwoman on the Boston board of Easterseals.
When she’s not outselling her peers, Tamburro loves traveling, visiting every MLB ballpark in the U.S., and cheering on Boston sports teams. She is also an athlete who learned from her grandfather, prize fighter Al “Red” Priest.
