Jason Bonarrigo
Branch Manager/Loan Officer
Residential Mortgage Services

With 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Jason Bonarrigo has become a staple in Boston’s real estate market. He’s been featured and quoted in Scotsman Guide, Bloomberg Financial and CNNMoney, and is a guest speaker on “Chronicle” on WCVB Channel 5 in Boston. “I believe most clients are comfortable with my industry knowledge, experience and ability to make a stressful transaction as smooth as possible,” says Bonarrigo, branch manager and loan officer at Residential Mortgage Services, who works with a wide range of clients, including first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers and luxury buyers.

Bonarrigo joined RMS in 2013, and in July 2015, he was tasked with taking over and managing the Boston branch office. “The office, which had a very successful team, had just relocated, so we only had two existing loan officers. So after a bit of a slow start and in my first full year as branch manager, we grew the office to a team of 10 people and funded close to $200 million in 2016,” he said. The past year also marked the 10th year Bonarrigo made the Presidents Club.

The year was filled with personal accomplishments for Bonarrigo, too. “Over the past two years, I have walked in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation One Walk on behalf of my daughter Olivia, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2014,” he said. “We have been able to raise over $15,000 for a wonderful cause for a cure. The search for a cure for Type 1 diabetes is very dear to my family’s heart, and we do a lot to support that through JDRF.”

After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Bonarrigo got started working in the mortgage industry at Homevest Mortgage in Newton. He then worked for Wells Fargo for a number of years before joining RMS. Bonarrigo is a member of the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston and the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association.

Bonarrigo is also an avid golfer, musician and amateur history buff. He resides in Walpole with his two children, Jacob and Olivia, and spends a lot of free time coaching their hockey and baseball teams.
