The Builder Coalition held its 2nd Annual Awards Celebration at the Lenox Hotel in Boston.

At the event, the city’s Chief of Housing Sheila Dillon and her team at the Mayor’s Office of Housing received the 2026 Gregory P. Bialecki Award for Leadership in Inclusive Development for their work on “Welcome Home, Boston.” The program repurposes vacant, city-owned parcels as affordable homes for first-time buyers.

“[Dillon] inspires all of us to constantly think outside the box and to try things that have never been done before,” Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said while presenting the award, “And that’s exactly what she’s done in leading the ‘Welcome Home, Boston’ program … We are so honored to join The Builder Coalition in presenting [Dillon] with this year’s Gregory P. Bialecki Award.”
