The Gammons Team of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate hosted Up Close with guest Steve Schirripa.
Shirripa, most famous for his roles as Bobby Baccalieri on HBO’s The Sopranos and Detective Anthony Abetemarco on CBS’s Blue Bloods, celebrated the release of his children’s book, “Willie Boy Eats the World.” Co-written with Philip Lerman and illustrated by Kirk Parrish, the story stars Shirripa’s internet-famous dachshund.
The event raised $10,000 for the Sunshine Kids Foundation, which offers free trips, retreats and emotional support to children with cancer and their families.
Petro HomeServices, D’Ellena Law Office, ECC Cultivation, M&M Paving and KREG New Homes sponsored the event.
“Steve Schirripa has such a strong following, and we are thrilled to bring him to Rhode Island yet again for a meaningful cause,” said Allen Gammons of The Gammons Team. “The Sunshine Kids Foundation does important work for children and families facing cancer, and we are proud to help support that mission with a fun, memorable community event.”
