Dino Confalone, Realtor

Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty

After watching his parents invest in multifamily units during his childhood, Dino Confalone decided to obtain his real estate license while in college. Confalone earned his degree and quickly advanced in Boston’s communications industry to the role of CFO. However, in the financial turmoil of 2008, he found himself looking for a job. He decided to finally give real estate a real chance and has not looked back. “My proudest accomplishment of 2023 was finally combining my business with my father’s,” he shares. “After several decades of working separately, we have successfully merged into the Confalone Real Estate Group.”

Confalone specializes in an international clientele at Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, working beside multilingual team members and representing clients throughout Cambridge, Boston and the South Shore. “As a Quincy native and Suffolk University graduate, the city of Boston has been my primary campus my entire life,” he points out.

The 2021 president of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and a past National Association of Realtors director, Confalone was recently named treasurer for the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB). This enabled him to take part in Government Affairs activities, such as testifying on Beacon Hill to fight rent control and to oppose transfer taxes. He is in line to chair GBREB in 2026; serves as Massachusetts Association of Realtors regional vice president to Boston; and has been a volunteer treasurer of the Cambridge Community of Real Estate Professional Foundation since 2009.

Viewed as a trusted resource and the “go-to” for all things real estate, Confalone credits his success to his ability to show empathy and to get the job done. “I become my client’s consultant, providing strategy and analysis, and am instrumental in helping them to achieve their goals,” he shares. In his free time, he enjoys being a director and coach for both of his sons’ town soccer organizations.
