Taking the family business to new heights, Matt Stevens, director of development, sales and marketing at Trask Development, and Clare Stevens, manager of development and customer experience, have been serving Boston for over six years and they’re not slowing down yet. Specializing in high-end and new construction, the team at Trask Development has the skills and capabilities to serve all their clients’ needs, whether it’s first-time buyers, down-sizers or even right-sizers looking for a change.

Counting themselves fortunate to have grown up within the real estate industry, sibling duo Matt and Clare Stevens grew up watching the communities their parents worked in take shape. “We’re fortunate that both of our parents gave us the opportunity to work in the business from a young age, giving us the appreciation for hard work that goes into a finished product,” Clare says.

2022 was a successful year for Trask Development, with two major developments completed and over $100 million in combined sales. All the while, the pair oversees every aspect of design and collectively manages their clients as a lean two-person team. “Having such direct input and control into the business gives us the ability to cater our service to each client and their personal needs or wishes,” says Matt. “And that’s a breath of fresh air compared to the service you get from bigger firms.”

While the dynamic duo put their heart and souls into their work, they’re quick to credit others, including their subcontractors who show up to work every day and turn plans into reality.
