WinnCompanies selected Abby Goldenfarb as the new senior vice president for WinnDevelopment, the group’s development wing.

Goldenfarb specializes in adaptive reuse and new construction. She has worked on projects like the Avenir and One Canal Street in Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle and Appleton Mills and 110 Canal Street in Lowell’s Hamilton Canal Innovation District. Before joining WinnCompanies, she served as senior vice president at Trinity Financial in Boston, where she worked for over 20 years.

“Abby will immediately become a key leader for the team serving New England, our most active development market,” said WinnDevelopment President Adam Stein in a press release. “Her track record, reputation and range of expertise align perfectly with the challenges and opportunities we face in our pipeline. We’re excited to have her on board.”

Goldenfarb added, “I look forward to working as part of the Winn team to create new opportunities for developing high-quality housing in New England. I am excited to embark on this new phase in my development career.”
