Lamacchia Realty has acquired Steepleview Realty, a North Adams-based brokerage licensed to provide residential real estate services in Vermont. The move cemented Lamacchia’s presence across all six New England states.

“Adding Vermont is an exciting milestone for our company and our clients,” said Anthony Lamacchia, founder and owner of Lamacchia Realty in a press release. “As more buyers and sellers relocate throughout New England and to Florida, our expanded footprint allows us to provide seamless service across the markets our clients care about most.”

Six Steepleview agents currently hold licenses to operate in Vermont, and leaders at both companies hope to increase that number by building on Steepleview’s strong local reputation.

“The Steepleview team is comprised of strong women who have worked tirelessly for almost three decades selling real estate in the Berkshires and southern Vermont,” said Jennifer Segala, Steepleview Realty owner. “When you see the name Lamacchia, remember that Steepleview is woven into that name now, and I hope our Northern Berkshire customers embrace and trust that we are still here to service our community as we have for over 28 years.”
