Where did you grow up? Worcester
 
What was your most interesting job before going into lending? I worked for the Department of youth services as a counselor and group worker and I worked with incarcerated teenage juveniles.
 
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Go for a run, journal or meditate.
 
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? John Wooden, the legendary basketball coach who won 10 national championships and would always get his players who were champions to buy into the simple fundamentals of “teamwork, tone and tenacity” year after year.
 
Where is Boston’s best-kept secret? The best marathon is the iconic Boston Marathon. you can only get in if you qualify with time or running for charity.
 
What do you love most about the industry? Working with first-time homebuyers. Helping them get into their first house is always very special especially when they didn’t think it was possible.
 
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Having to let people know they will not qualify because of credit, insufficient income or the numbers just don’t work
 
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? Personal development books.
 
What’s your favorite meal in Boston? Can’t go wrong with seafood
 
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? Fenway Park!
 
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? Buyers’ remorse after they just settled for a house after being outbid so many times and people were just buying a house and were not in love with it. It was a trend last year.
 
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? Two years ago I completed the Boston Marathon on crutches after tearing my quadriceps two months prior to the race.
 
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why? I love the gulf coast of Florida in Sarasota. It has the most amazing sunsets.
 
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the lending industry? Be persistent and outwork everyone by prospecting and networking.
