MGS Group Real Estate to open MetroWest office

by Liz Hughes

Maggie Seelig of MGS Real Estate Group has announced she is opening her first suburban office in the MetroWest Suburbs, expanding the brokerage to assist buyers and sellers beyond Boston. Headquartered in Harvard Square, MGS has primarily focused on Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Newton for the past 10 years.

Seelig says the expansion to Boston’s western suburbs reflects the needs of today’s clients who are leaving the city and looking for the right home whether it’s in the Brookline/Newton area or Wellesley and Weston. “As these communities expand their downtowns and add new retail, dining and recreation, they become a more appealing choice for families outgrowing the city,” according to a company press release. “Empty-nesters relocating to city life can work with the same team to sell as they explore neighborhoods to find their new urban home.”

The MetroWest office opening also brings on board top producer Teri Adler, who will lead the new location. According to a company release, Adler will bring more than 15 years to the team. Previously with Pinnacle Residential Properties where she was the top producer for 13 years, Adler was born and raised in Wayland and can share not only her industry knowledge but also her knowledge of the community.

“Teri’s approach is perfectly aligned with our Beyond Brokerage model,” Seelig said in the release. “As clients explore a wide variety of possible communities, her expertise in the western suburbs deepens our bench and increases our value to both home buyers and sellers. We are over the moon to welcome her to our firm and expand our coverage to include the western suburban market.”

Previously a Boston news reporter, Adler earned her MBA from Babson College and lives in Wellesley with her husband and three daughters.
