Mortgage Network adds loan officer to Boston branch

by Liz Hughes

Kate Dirrane has joined Mortgage Network Inc.’s Boston branch as a loan officer and sales assistant.

A Boston native with deep Southie roots, Dirrane brings almost a decade of mortgage banking experience to Mortgage Network. She previously served as a mortgage loan processor with NE Moves Mortgage, which was later acquired by PHH Home Loans, and as a regional team lead with National Mortgage Insurance Corp., better known as National MI.

Dirrane, who is licensed in Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, said her goal is to educate her clients and prepare them for all situations. She added that she tries to stay in constant contact with real estate agents to keep them informed of where borrowers are in the loan process to help mitigate stress and eliminate surprises.

“I love partnering with real estate agents and helping them grow their business,” Dirrane told Boston Agent. “For me, it’s about instilling the confidence and knowledge that once a loan is in my hands, they don’t have anything to worry about. If we are able to trust and rely on one another, we can grow alongside each other and help as many clients as possible.”

Dirrane, a graduate of North Carolina State University, is also a member of the Melrose/Wakefield Chapter of the Women’s Business League.
