Mortgage Network Inc. has announced the addition of Mark Rowe to the company’s Burlington branch as a loan officer.

“We’re thrilled to have Mark join our office,” said Billy Pierce, manager of Mortgage Network’s Burlington branch in a press release. “He knows the local market well and understands all of our mortgage product offerings. He will be instrumental in assisting homeowners and buyers make the right decisions for all their financing needs.”

A Melrose resident, Rowe says in today’s competitive market it’s important for potential home buyers to plan ahead and get pre-approved as soon as possible. 

“The best advice I can give borrowers is to make sure they are working with an individual and company that will take the time to find the best products and programs to suit their needs,” he said in a press release. “Many homes are generating multiple offers, so finding out what you can afford and having a pre-approval in hand when making an offer can put you ahead of the game.”

He also said current homeowners who haven’t refinanced their mortgages can still take advantage of historically low interest rates to take out money to make home improvements, pay off debt or finance other expenses. 

Rowe is a Melrose High School graduate and received a bachelor’s degree from Springfield College.
