Compass recently announced its acquisition of 100-agent Westchester agency Platinum Drive Realty. Launched in 2006 by Heather and Zach Harrison, Platinum Drive sold $238.7 million worth of real estate in 2017 and for the past four years, it earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America list, according to The Real Deal.

This acquisition is part of Compass’ ambitious, larger-scale plan to open 70 offices nationwide this year. The company’s recent expansion efforts include the opening three offices in Chicago, the opening of a new San Diego office and the launch of an operation in Dallas in the past few months.
