Dave ViveirosWhat was your first job in the realty industry? Loan officer – a job I started six months out of graduating from college.

Where did you grow up? Somerset, Mass.

Growing up, what did you want to be? Advertising executive.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Go for a run in the city.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Ronald Reagan – he unified this country and lead us through a very difficult time.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? The Seaport/Fort Point – great restaurants, art scene and the place to be in the summer.

What do you love most about the industry? Meeting and helping new people all the time, and having developed some really great relationships with clients and colleagues over the years.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? My 20-plus years experience as a loan officer, varied and unique product offerings, and the support of an amazing team back in my office.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Ongoing regulations and guideline changes. The latest of them – TRID.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Boston’s restaurants and networking events.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Being a President’s Club member for 11 straight years (every year I’ve been here at Radius Financial).

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Sicario.

What is your favorite restaurant? Bricco, North End.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? Old State House.

What kind of car do you drive? Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Smartphone or paper? Both. The iPhone is always attached to me. However, I go with old school pen and paper when sitting down with a new client or business partner.

What is your favorite city after Boston? Portland, Maine.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Study, learn, plan, network, network, network, repeat.

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? Admittedly, I’m not a regular Twitter follower. But when I do, I’m typically on it for leisure and interests: politics, food, sports and music!
