Gratitude and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind Brian Quijada’s success in Boston real estate. Helping his father with rental properties in Lowell growing up piqued his interest in the business. Later, when a friend suggested his naturally positive, service-oriented attitude would be a great fit for real estate, he was all in.
For the last two years, Quijada has run the leasing department at EVO, which exclusively leases more than 300 units in Greater Boston. With almost $1 million in total leased business for the company so far, Quijada says this is his proudest achievement in his career to date. He also specializes in new-construction representation in Greater Boston. “Some days it feels like a dream to be working alongside some of the most successful people I have ever met,” he muses. “Every day is something new.”
Clients often say Quijada’s attentiveness makes them feel like they are his only client, which he confirms is always his goal. The former bartender credits much of his sales savvy to his hospitality roots. “I learned how to talk to every type of person from the doorman to the CEO and to treat everyone with the same respect,” he says. He also takes pride in offering honest opinions about issues with a property, value or anything surrounding a transaction. Honesty, Quijada believes, is his most valuable asset.
He currently represents Brook Row, a new development of 10 town houses in West Somerville that’s his biggest project to date. “I feel so grateful to represent this project, among others,” he declares. “These projects are actively shaping the landscape of Greater Boston, and I get to be a part of it.”
The fitness fanatic enjoys working out and practicing jujitsu. He also loves hiking with his dog, Axel.
